About The Position

As a Business Banking iOS Developer, you will deliver secure, scalable, and intuitive mobile experiences that help businesses manage their finances and grow. You will design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain production software, using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools where appropriate and validating their outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding practices. The role includes building native iOS applications, producing architecture and design artifacts, creating comprehensive test strategies, and using data insights to improve application quality, coding practices, and system architecture.

Requirements

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or code-generation tools, and understanding of integrating AI capabilities into development workflows.
• Hands-on use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation, with the ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security expectations; ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage.
• Applied experience in native mobile application development.
• Proficiency in Swift, including modern concurrency patterns such as async/await and Combine.
• Strong experience with iOS frameworks including UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation, Core Data, and Combine.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns, including MVC, MVVM, Coordinator, and SOLID.
• Expertise writing unit tests with XCTest and UI tests with XCUITest, and a strong commitment to test-driven development.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Bitrise, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, and Git source control management.
• Experience with modularization, dependency injection, and building reusable iOS SDKs or frameworks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building or working with design systems, including UI development and white-labeling.
• Appreciation for accessibility and understanding of WCAG and Apple accessibility requirements.
• Practical cloud-native experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• An active GitHub or Stack Overflow profile, or a published app portfolio demonstrating technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Use enterprise-authorized AI coding-assistance tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables, validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• Share learnings and reusable patterns that improve broader team effectiveness.
• Apply software development lifecycle toolchain capabilities, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation, to increase the value realized from automation.
• Execute software design, development, and technical troubleshooting, using approaches beyond routine or conventional solutions when needed.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests, UI tests, and automated test suites.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software development meets design constraints.
• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize or report on large, diverse data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use those insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
