About The Position

The Software Engineer II - Argo Applications designs, configures, tests, implements, supports, and documents solutions for assigned applications across the organization. The role customizes Argo platform solutions for Teller and Sales & Service operations and develops web-based functionality using JavaScript and related technologies. It also designs and supports database solutions, integrations, and data workflows that enable business processes.

The engineer collaborates with project teams and other Software Engineers, provides technical support, and troubleshoots and resolves defects in assigned IT systems and applications. The role emphasizes collaboration, ingenuity, integrity, caring, and excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to independently identify program issues and develop appropriate solutions, typically requiring at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and modern web application development concepts.
• Experience developing and supporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL (T-SQL), including queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and data integration processes.
• Experience using Git for source control, version management, and collaborative software development.

Nice To Haves

• Strong understanding of commonly used programming concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Experience with Argo Data platforms, including Teller, Sales & Service, and/or Argo Customizer.
• Experience configuring and customizing financial services or banking applications.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience supporting web-based enterprise applications.
• Working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and related Microsoft development technologies.
• Experience supporting branch banking, retail banking, or customer-facing technology solutions.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and third-party systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, test, implement, and document solutions for assigned program modules.
• Collaborate on and customize Argo platform solutions supporting Teller and Sales & Service operations.
• Develop and maintain web-based functionality using JavaScript and related technologies.
• Design and support database solutions, integrations, and data workflows that enable business processes.
• Collaborate with project teams and other Software Engineers to provide technical support.
• Support assigned IT systems and applications by troubleshooting and resolving defects.
