About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client. Join a growing technology team where you'll design, develop, and support enterprise applications that power critical business operations. This role is ideal for an experienced software engineer with strong systems analysis skills, Azure cloud expertise, and experience with identity management technologies. You'll collaborate across development, infrastructure, and business teams while contributing to complex projects from design through production support.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree with 5+ years of systems analysis/application development experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and containerized environments.
  • Experience with identity and access management technologies including PingFederate, PingDirectory, and RSA Adaptive Authentication.
  • Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Experience supporting enterprise software applications and complex system integrations.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Banking or financial services technology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications.
  • Perform systems analysis, debugging, and application enhancements.
  • Lead technical efforts on medium to large-scale development projects.
  • Develop solutions using Azure cloud services, including virtual servers and containerized applications.
  • Build and maintain authentication and identity integrations using RSA Adaptive Authentication, PingFederate, and PingDirectory.
  • Create automation and support scripts using JavaScript, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Produce technical documentation, specifications, and implementation plans.
  • Mentor junior developers and coordinate technical activities across project teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations, infrastructure, and vendors throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Recommend improvements to applications, development processes, and technology platforms.
  • Ensure applications meet security, risk, compliance, and quality standards.
