Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience building and maintaining enterprise applications
- Proven experience writing production-quality code in object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
- Track record of designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating systems through web services
- Demonstrated ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate within cross-functional teams
- Background in full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance
- Experience with version control systems and modern development tools and practices
- History of successfully learning and adapting to new technologies and platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience.
- 4 additional years of software engineering experience.
Nice To Haves
- Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce APIs) is a strong plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions that support Personal Insurance digital transformation initiatives
- Write clean, maintainable code following Salesforce best practices and development standards
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that enhance customer experience
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure robust solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the Salesforce platform
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and emerging technologies to continuously improve technical skills
