About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace Technologies is hiring a Software Engineer II to join our dynamic Flight Management System team, where we design, develop, and integrate highly complex systems for the Anthem™ Next Generation Avionics program. We are seeking a passionate and driven Software Engineer who thrives on building innovative software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. In this role, you will work in a fast paced, collaborative development environment alongside experienced software and systems engineers. You will contribute to satisfying technical requirements, supporting functional load deliveries, and ensuring full compliance with stringent certification standards. Honeywell's Anthem Integrated Flight Deck is the industry's 1st Cloud-Connected "Always-On" Integrated Cockpit system, featuring cloud-native communications, navigation, and surveillance systems, powered by a flexible software platform that can be customized for virtually every type of aircraft, from passenger planes and business aircraft to defense, general aviation and the rapidly emerging class of Advanced Air-Mobility (AAM) vehicles. Requirements

  • Software Engineer II role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with C++ programming.
  • Experience in software development for complex systems.
  • Familiarity with avionics systems is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck.
  • Experience with cloud-native communications, navigation, and surveillance systems.
  • Experience with pilot-machine interface design.
