As a Systems Engineer II at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of advanced Avionics systems on the Next-Gen Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform team. The Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is described as a visionary endeavor utilizing cutting-edge technologies to redefine pilot interaction with flight information and aircraft systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance cutting-edge avionics technologies that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and safety of aircraft systems, thereby shaping the future of aerospace innovation. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, developers, and designers to create and implement forward-thinking Avionics solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support design, development, integration, and verification of avionics systems on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform
  • Participate in system architecture and design activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in software, hardware, safety, certification, and test
  • Develop, analyze, and manage avionics system requirements
  • Support system architecture definition, trade studies, and integration
  • Participate in verification and validation activities
  • Perform system impact analysis and support root cause investigations
  • Support certification artifacts and compliance documentation
  • Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during development and testing
