About The Position

TAG is hiring a Software Engineer to help design and deliver AI-powered enterprise applications across Kiewit’s district portfolio. The role is suited to a developer ready to work beyond implementation and contribute at the systems level by shaping application structure, integrations, and the use of AI to accelerate delivery. The engineer works alongside senior architects and develops architectural skills through hands-on design and mentorship. The position is based in Lenexa, Kansas, within Kiewit Technology Group (KTG). KTG builds technology solutions for Kiewit’s districts and home-office departments, supporting project schedule and cost certainty, profitability, planning, and field execution through real-time data. The engineer builds features and district-specific delivery projects spanning front-end experiences, backend APIs, and supporting infrastructure. The role uses modern frameworks and AI-approved development tools and partners with designers, product owners, and engineers to deliver software used by Kiewit teams. Work spans multiple platforms and projects, including PAVE, SPEQ, MUSE, and district delivery projects, with opportunities to contribute to the practices of a growing, greenfield team.
