About The Position

SageCor Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to provide software engineering services in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and extensive software engineering experience. The engineer will develop Java and Spring microservices and work with Linux, containers, orchestration, monitoring, and version-control technologies. Desired experience includes CI/CD, search and dataflow tools, and the Amazon HCI platform. The role operates in an Agile development environment and on a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Twenty years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university; four additional years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for the degree.
• Experience using the Linux command line interface.
• Experience developing microservices using Java and Spring.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and containerd.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
• Experience using system monitoring tools, including Grafana and Prometheus.
• Experience using Git for version control.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
• Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for data indexing and retrieval.
• Experience with NiFi for dataflow management and ingestion.
• Experience with the Amazon HCI platform.
• Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in an Agile development environment and on a multidisciplinary team.
