About The Position

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level software engineer with strong Java experience and experience with MapReduce, cloud, GhostMachine, and QTA. The role supports the mission to protect the country by developing and innovating software solutions that meet customer needs in a timely manner. This position is open to direct hires only; candidates from third-party staffing or recruiting firms will not be considered. Candidates must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph and be U.S. citizens.

Requirements

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Fourteen years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university; four years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with Java.
• Experience with MapReduce.
• Cloud experience.
• Experience with GhostMachine.
• Experience with QTA.
