About The Position

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level software engineer with strong Java experience and experience with MapReduce, cloud technologies, GhostMachine, and QTA. The engineer will develop software in support of the mission to protect the country, delivering timely solutions and contributing to ongoing innovation.

This position is open to direct hires only; candidates from third-party staffing or recruiting firms will not be considered. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.

Requirements

• Currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Fourteen years of experience as a software engineer (SWE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes as a substitute.
• Experience with Java.
• Experience with MapReduce.
• Cloud experience.
• Experience with GhostMachine.
• Experience with QTA.
