About The Position

The Procedures Management Group is seeking an intern to assist with software development. The primary goal is to automate and streamline various processes involved in verifying and publishing procedure files. The software program is structured with multiple plugins, each acting as a distinct tool within an overall framework, and is developed using Python. An ideal candidate will have familiarity with Python development, SQL, software testing, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Automate and assist with various processes for verifying and publishing procedure files.
Develop a tool that checks references from one procedure to flag mismatched references.
Develop a tool that tracks a procedure’s completion of the various steps of our workflow, and that can track multiple procedures among different users.
Replace a quality check notification tool, currently based on Sharepoint.
Migrate a distribution list generator tool (written in Python) from Cold Fusion.
Update the tool user interface.
Automate the creation of update packages for the procedure database, replacing the current manual-intensive tool and integrating this function into the software program.
Develop a tool to compare and display differences between procedure files in their native XML format within the procedure viewer tool.
