About The Position

Fiserv Solutions, LLC is hiring a Software Development Engineering - Advisor II to develop customized software designs supporting critical business functions and meeting project objectives, client requirements, and company goals. The role develops REST API applications and code for applications running in PCF and AWS Cloud, and designs high-volume transaction processing applications for payment-processing environments. The position delivers secure software using security scan tools, tests APIs, writes code-coverage test cases, and uses agentic AI at an enterprise level throughout the software development lifecycle to increase productivity. The position is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and may be performed at various unanticipated U.S. locations subject to management authorization. No travel is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Four years of software development experience using Java in any job title.
• Four years of experience using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Transactional, and Spring Batch.
• Four years of experience creating unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Four years of experience working with databases and code integrations, including Oracle, SQL Server, and NoSQL.
• Four years of experience implementing complex full-stack solutions, including digital and mobile systems, APIs, and microservices in large enterprise organizations.
• Two years of experience working with Agile methodology in the payments industry in Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized designs to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.
