About The Position

At Fiserv, the Software Development Engineering - Advisor I designs, develops, and maintains high-quality software applications. The role works with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business goals and client needs.

The position leads software application design, development, and implementation; gathers requirements and translates them into technical specifications; and performs coding, testing, and debugging to support application performance and reliability. It also maintains and improves existing codebases, leads peer reviews, mentors junior developers, and provides technical guidance. Responsibilities may be modified as necessary and are not intended to be all-inclusive.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in software development.
• At least 3 years of experience with Java, C, C++, C#, or similar programming languages.
• At least 3 years of experience with SQL databases.
• At least 3 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
• At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• At least 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies.
• At least 6 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience with Fiserv products.

Responsibilities
