About The Position

As a Software Engineer in the test role on Apple’s Video Engineering team, you will work with ANE software engineers to understand the features you support. The team provides hardware acceleration using Apple Neural Engine system-on-chip technology to enable real-time, low-power, high-performance execution of deep learning workloads for Apple products.

You will develop comprehensive test plans, implement test cases, and create test automation frameworks and tools to support test-case deployment. You will track and report test results and work closely with feature developers to debug discovered issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of Python and/or another programming language such as C++.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology, and processes.
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to enhance QA tasks, such as implementing test cases and analyzing failures.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of experience in test automation or related areas.
• Ability to multitask and lead tasks with varying priorities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and groups.
• Experience with database management software such as SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, including the ability to describe and document clearly.
• Experience with tools such as Xcode and CMake.
• Machine learning-related experience.
