About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking a senior full-stack developer to build complete software solutions in a fast, agile environment, taking systems from initial vision through production readiness. The role involves developing software and systems, mastering new tools and techniques, identifying system improvements, and helping clients address difficult challenges using current architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. The developer will ensure team solutions account for the existing architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements. The position is located in Fort Meade, Maryland, and is not remote.

Requirements

• Experience in software development with programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks, including Java and JavaScript in a Linux environment.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions.
• Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods.
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 14+ years of software engineering experience, or 18+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Java libraries, including MongoDB, Spring, and OSGi.
• Experience with Perl, Python, Lua, and NGINX.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, team-oriented environment and balance long- and short-term taskings.
