About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Software Configuration Analyst to support the MLRS team at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. The analyst coordinates materiel releases and prepares software for distribution by burning it onto UFM, SSD, DVD, CD, or other portable drives. The role also maintains written shipping records and required ITAR or other regulatory shipping documentation. The analyst interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, including test, safety, systems engineering, and quality assurance teams. The position requires independent work and developing processes to resolve issues promptly and comply with shipping guidelines for each fielding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and five years of experience; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must possess an active Interim Secret security clearance to start and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with software configuration management and fielding activities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft desktop tools.
• Experience delivering and shipping hardware and software.
• Proficiency with standard logistics software.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with project leads.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and maneuver staircases and uneven surfaces.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) System Safety.
• Docker experience.

Responsibilities
