About The Position
As a Soft Count Clerk, you will work within the Money Room to count casino gaming monies. You will report to the Soft Count Supervisors and Manager. The position is part-time, scheduled Thursday through Monday from 6:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Weekly earned wage access is an option.
Requirements
- 10-key proficiency by touch.
- Tolerance for repetition.
- Ability to apply basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Experience handling large volumes of cash.
Responsibilities
- Handle large volumes of cash and chips.
- Count, sort, bundle, and record cash.
- Clean work areas as designated by management.
- Count and balance all monies.
- Identify counterfeit bills.
- Individually wrap all denominations of monies after the initial count.
- Compare all totals of monies.
- Use computers to enter, access, or retrieve data.
- Maintain money-room security according to rules.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
