About The Position

The Social Worker will be a member of the Interprofessional Practice team of Social Workers providing assessment, counselling and support to children and families within Saskatchewan Health Authority. The Social Worker in this position will work primarily with the Pediatric (outpatient) program providing services to children dealing with the complexities of chronic conditions. The incumbent will share social work responsibilities in the department including coverage for holidays and sick leave.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge in the SHA, community resources and applicable programming
• Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
• Valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search (required at time of interview)
