About The Position

Georgia Hospice Care is seeking a hospice medical social worker committed to creating meaningful experiences for patients and their families. Working in accordance with the plan of care, the Social Worker provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support when it is needed most. The role includes psychosocial evaluations, ongoing counseling, bereavement services, and community education outreach. Requirements

• A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
• Master of Social Work degree from an accredited school of social work approved by the Council of Social Work Education.
• Current state license as a social worker.
• At least 2 years of clinical work experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.

• Clinical work experience in healthcare or hospice.
