About The Position
The Social Worker provides quality patient care at Center for Behavioral Health Osage Beach, an 18-bed, freestanding inpatient adult psychiatric hospital. The role uses advanced skills in social assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning, and leads primary treatment modalities, including group, family, and individual therapies. As a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, the Social Worker also participates in community outreach, host-facility relationships, and education. The facility provides inpatient acute care for adults age 18 and older who meet inpatient criteria, using current, research-based best-practice protocols.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited school of social work, or membership in the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
- Documented training related to the primary population served within the past year.
- Must be eligible and acceptable to meet the expectations of the Hospital.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in an acute behavioral health setting is preferred.
