Social Worker MSW Weekends/ PRN
About The Position
Center for Behavioral Health Osage Beach is seeking a Social Worker to provide quality patient care at its 18-bed inpatient adult psychiatric hospital. The facility treats adults requiring inpatient hospitalization for mental health conditions, including anxiety, major depression, mood disturbances, and psychosis. The Social Worker will perform social assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning, and lead primary treatment modalities, including group, family, and individual therapies. As a multidisciplinary team member, the Social Worker will also participate in community outreach, host-facility relationships, and education. The facility provides specialized, research-based treatment designed to improve quality and cost effectiveness and meet the needs of individuals in crisis.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited school of social work, or membership in the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
- Documented training related to the primary population served within the past year.
- Be eligible and acceptable to meet the expectations of the hospital.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in an acute behavioral health setting is preferred.
