About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Social Worker with a Master of Social Work (MSW) for an acute care hospital in Burbank, California. This 13-week assignment has one opening and is scheduled to start November 16, 2026. The role works day shifts, five 8-hour shifts per week, from 8:00 to 16:30. The caseload is approximately 1:25 on days, and the clinician will not float. The assignment typically includes one full weekend every four weeks. Business attire or scrubs are required. Weekly pay is $2,173, with an eligible housing and meals stipend of up to $1,995 per week.
Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW).
- State licensure as required.
- At least 2 years of acute care social work and discharge planning experience.
- BLS certification if required.
