About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Social Worker (LCSW) for an acute care hospital in Everett, Washington. This is a 13-week assignment starting November 9, 2026, with two openings. The schedule is day shift, five 8-hour shifts per week, from 7:30 to 16:00. Working every other weekend is required. Weekly pay is $2,133. Eligible workers may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,442 per week, based on the GSA FY2027 maximum for the location. Overtime is paid at 1.3% for 40 total hours in one week. The assignment requires a Master of Social Work (MSW), an active Washington license, and at least one year of recent LCSW experience. Acute care experience and discharge planning or care coordination experience are required. First-time travelers are not accepted. Candidates with diverse case management experience, including Med Surg, LLOS, and ED, are strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW).
- Active Washington license/certification for the LCSW specialty; compact license accepted where applicable.
- At least 1 year of recent LCSW experience.
- Acute care experience.
- Discharge planning or care coordination experience.
- BLS if required.
- First-time travelers are not accepted.
