About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Social Worker (LMSW) for an acute care hospital in Edmonds, Washington. This is a 13-week assignment with a day schedule of five 8-hour shifts, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., primarily Monday through Friday. The worker must be willing to cover some weekends and is expected to work one of three holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's. Weekly pay is $2,139. A housing and meals stipend of up to $1,442 per week is included where eligible. The posting states an overtime rate of 1.3% for 40 total hours in one week.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent LMSW experience.
- Acute care or medical-surgical experience is required, including experience with a high caseload on a fast-paced unit.
- Active Washington state LMSW license or certification; compact credentials are accepted where applicable.
- BLS certification if required.
- Must be willing to cover some weekends.
- Expected to work one of the three holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's.
