About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Social Worker (LICSW) for an acute care hospital in Spokane, Washington. The position is a 26-week contract, with openings for two workers. The role may float between units and has expected ratios of 7. Both day and night schedules are listed: four 10-hour shifts, 7:00–17:00 or 17:00–3:00. The assignment is open to 13- or 26-week placements. The role includes crisis risk assessments for adults and uses Epic for charting. All orientation hours are billable for preferred profiles.
Requirements
- Active Washington license or certification for the LICSW specialty; compact licenses are accepted where applicable.
- One to two years of recent LICSW experience.
- Active LICSW license for the state.
- BLS certification if required.
- An independent or associate license is sufficient.
- Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Independent Clinical Social Worker.
Responsibilities
- Conduct crisis risk assessments for adults.
- Float between hospital units as needed.
- Chart using Epic.
