Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work OR Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Current state licensure required upon hire and maintain active status (LCSW, LMFT)
  • Minimum of two (2) years Inpatient or Outpatient Behavioral Health experience.
  • Experience in working with a diverse population with a wide range of problems (i.e., death and dying, maternal and childcare, unhoused population, substance use disorders, disability, chronic illness, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain active status.
  • State Board approval to provide clinical supervision to interns, as indicated.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision to ASWs and MFTIs.
  • Assist Director in quality assurance and program development tasks for social services.
  • Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling; information and referral; referrals for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families with problems that are related to hospitalization, illness, disability, or trauma in all clinical care areas.
  • Provide case management, milieu management, complete psychosocial assessments, assist in the development and re-evaluation of treatment plans, work as a member of an interdisciplinary team, and to coordinate discharge planning.
  • Complete necessary documentation and maintain clinical record for all social service consults during their length of stay.
