Social Video Producer

Brainlabs
$60,000 - $70,000Onsite

About The Position

We're looking for a Social Video Producer to join our marketing team and help create platform-native short-form video across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and YouTube Shorts. This role sits at the intersection of creative craft, social + platform fluency, and AI-enabled production, turning ideas and footage into scroll-stopping content that strengthens Brainlabs' brand. You're a visual storyteller who's curious about how social platforms behave, how culture moves, and how emerging tools can accelerate craft. You bring a strong creative eye, real enthusiasm for the work, and a willingness to learn and grow alongside experienced marketers. This isn't just a postproduction role. You'll shoot, edit, and help shape how our brand moves and communicates across platforms and screens. You'll also work closely with Brainlabs' founder, recording and supporting his personal social content end to end, from capture to final cut.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite — Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition (or enthusiasm to deepen what you know).
  • Some experience with motion graphics and an interest in growing those skills (3D tools like Cinema 4D are a plus, not a must).
  • Comfort, or curiosity, around the full production loop: shooting small productions, working with on-camera talent, capturing b-roll, and editing it together.
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.
  • A grasp of core design principles — typography, color, layout — and an instinct for pacing, tone, and storytelling in vertical video.
  • An eye for translating information into clear, engaging visuals.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, comfortable receiving and incorporating feedback.
  • Curiosity about Claude and other AI tools, and an interest in learning how to set up skills and integrate them into creative workflows (we'll teach you the rest).
  • A portfolio or reel showing short-form video, motion design, or related creative work — student, internship, freelance, and personal projects all count.

Nice To Haves

  • Some professional or freelance experience in video production, motion design, or a related creative field — internships count.
  • Prior tinkering with LinkedIn, Twitter/X, or YouTube Shorts, even on personal accounts.
  • Familiarity with CapCut or other social-first editing tools.
  • Undergraduate degree in video production, digital media arts, or a related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Familiarity with HTML is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Help create short-form video across LinkedIn, Twitter/X and YouTube Shorts, from concepting and shooting through final delivery.
  • Partner with Brainlabs' founder on his personal social channels, capturing and producing video content that supports his ongoing presence across platforms.
  • Capture and edit raw footage on small productions, including interviews, b-roll, and on-camera moments.
  • Craft hooks and pacing that stop the scroll and turn raw moments into concise, emotionally resonant vertical stories.
  • Contribute to brand, campaign, and trend-inspired content while keeping things authentic to each platform.
  • Support versioning: alternate hooks, cutdowns, aspect ratios, caption treatments.
  • Help maintain and evolve motion design standards and brand consistency across projects.
  • Collaborate with the design team and producers to deliver on-brand visual content.
  • Look at audience insights and engagement metrics to refine pacing, hooks, and creative structure over time.
  • Experiment with AI-assisted editing, captioning, transcription, and generative tools to speed up workflow without compromising quality.
  • Stay curious about emerging design tools, media trends, and AI-assisted creative practices, and bring those insights back to the team.
  • Keep project files and the social video library organized and easy for the team to reuse.

Benefits

  • Culture-first environment
  • Winning together culture
