Social Studies Teacher (Long-Term Substitute)
About The Position
Lower Merion School District is hiring a long-term substitute Social Studies Teacher at Harriton High School. This position is expected to last from November 2026 through January 2027. Salary and benefits are set by the LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. The posting may close at any time at the district’s discretion. Applicants must hold Social Studies 7–12 Certification. Out-of-state educators may consult the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s reciprocity guidelines. Applicants must be in good standing regarding Act 48 credits and have child abuse, Pennsylvania State Police, and FBI clearances that are no less than one year from the date of hire.
