About The Position

Rocket Money is looking for a Social Producer to join their Creative team. This role requires someone who is passionate about social media, brings fresh ideas, and can create content that captures attention and drives performance. The Social Producer will be part of the video team, creating social-first content across various platforms to reach new audiences and innovate within the fintech industry. This is a full-time, mid-level position within the Marketing department's Creative team.

Requirements

Avid, active user of social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), studying its trends and performance.
Genuine instinct for what makes content perform and the ability to articulate why.
3-5 years of experience producing video content with a strong portfolio of social-first work.
Deep understanding of platform differences and what works on each.
Comfortable on a production set and across all stages of production from pre to post.
Proficient in Premiere Pro and comfortable with mobile-first editing tools.
Strong storytelling instincts with the ability to craft content that entertains, educates, and converts.
Self-starter who moves fast, takes initiative, and is always looking for the next angle.
Collaborative and communicative, sharing ideas generously and giving/receiving feedback well.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with direct response principles and how creative decisions impact conversion.
After Effects experience.
Experience growing or managing a brand's organic social presence.

Responsibilities

Own social content production end-to-end, from concept through delivery, producing direct response video content built specifically for TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
Bring a relentless stream of fresh ideas, staying updated on trends, conversions, and innovative approaches.
Produce platform-native content that feels authentic to each channel, built from the ground up for social consumption.
Collaborate with the creative team on ideation, storyboarding, and concept development, sharing a strong point of view.
Iterate quickly based on performance data, using it to inform and optimize creative decisions.
Shoot, direct, and produce content, being comfortable on set and behind the camera.
Identify new content formats and trends before they peak and present concrete ideas for their use.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong turnaround times and attention to detail.
Help expand Rocket Money's reach to new audiences and demographics through smart, culturally relevant content.
