About The Position

Ridepanda is seeking a creative Social Media Specialist to join their growing Marketing team. This role will be responsible for executing the company's social media strategy across all platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive subscriber growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation (video, images, written content) and essential social media management skills. They should be passionate about sustainable transportation and skilled at creating compelling content for both B2B and B2C audiences. This position reports to the Head of Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
  • 1- 3+ years of professional social media management experience with a proven track record of growing engagement and followers
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in content creation across multiple formats (video, images, written content)
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.)
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with social media analytics and ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Knowledge of current social media trends, platform algorithms, and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Graphic design skills are a plus (experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools)
  • Experience with video production and editing is highly desirable
  • Passion for sustainable transportation and urban mobility is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our brand voice and business objectives
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging channels
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results
  • Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, and Product to ensure brand consistency and support business objectives
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic posting
  • Leverage influencer partnerships to expand our reach
