About The Position

Center Court Pickleball is seeking a Social Media Manager to build, own, and grow their digital presence across eight platforms. This role is crucial for driving membership growth by creating engaging content that attracts new members and fosters community. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for content creation, strategy, performance tracking, and community engagement, with a focus on converting social media activity into tangible results like court bookings and memberships. The position requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of social media trends, platform-specific content creation, and a results-oriented approach. This role offers flexibility in terms of part-time or full-time employment, with compensation and hours negotiable for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pickleball and possess a strong portfolio demonstrating success in social media content creation and growth.

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio showing real results across multiple platforms, including actual growth.
  • Understanding that great content builds community and attracts new members.
  • Proficiency in Canva.
  • Comfortable with smartphone cameras and basic video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar).
  • Trend-aware but selective in choosing which social media trends to adopt.
  • 2+ years of hands-on social media content creation experience.
  • Self-starter capable of managing a packed content calendar and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to write with personality, ensuring captions, CTAs, and replies sound human.
  • Comfortable attending monthly events and capturing live content in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to understand the difference between platform-specific content styles (e.g., TikTok hook vs. LinkedIn opener).

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage social media presence from the ground up on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Threads, and Pinterest.
  • Manage and grow existing channels including Instagram, Facebook, Google Business, and LinkedIn.
  • Create platform-native content (Reels, Stories, short-form video, graphics) for all eight channels, ensuring content is tailored to each platform's audience and best practices.
  • Design branded graphics using Canva.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-platform content calendar aligned with club events, promotions, and membership campaigns.
  • Maintain organized content archives and update the website gallery with event recaps and club highlights.
  • Craft content with a conversion mindset to drive membership sign-ups and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with sales and membership teams on social campaigns and promotional offers.
  • Highlight member stories, testimonials, and milestones.
  • Support event-based lead generation through compelling content.
  • Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and Google reviews.
  • Track analytics across all platforms and use data to inform content strategy.
  • Achieve monthly goals for engagement, reach, follower growth, website traffic, and membership attribution.
  • Collaborate with Club General Managers and leadership to ensure content alignment with club activities.
  • Manage community engagement and oversee content approval workflows.
  • Attend monthly club events, leagues, tournaments, and special activations to capture live photos and videos.
  • Film matches, clinics, tournaments, and member moments for social media and website use.
  • Be courtside at events every month, camera in hand, telling the story that makes people want to join.
