About The Position

Goodhue Boat Company is seeking a Full-Time Social Media Manager to lead its social media presence across multiple locations and brands. This role involves creating engaging content, managing daily social media execution, and promoting the Goodhue lifestyle online. The Social Media Manager will work within a fast-paced marketing team, collaborating with the Marketing Director and Marketing & Events Manager to develop content supporting boat sales, rentals, service, boat club, events, and overall brand awareness. This position will manage social media execution in New England markets and guide content direction for other locations to ensure brand consistency.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and social media best practices.
Experience shooting and editing content for Reels, TikTok, and short-form video platforms.
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar editing/design tools.
Strong communication and storytelling skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple locations, priorities, and deadlines.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel between locations and attend occasional weekend events/boat shows.

Nice To Haves

Passion for boating, lifestyle brands, or outdoor recreation is a plus.
Experience managing or coordinating social media across multiple locations or brands preferred.
Ability to guide and collaborate with remote teams while maintaining brand consistency across markets.

Responsibilities

Capture and create photo/video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms across multiple locations.
Plan, schedule, publish, and monitor social media content calendars for both corporate and local channels.
Film and edit short-form video content including walkthroughs, event coverage, educational content, trends, and lifestyle storytelling.
Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and social engagement to help build strong relationships with customers and followers.
Showcase the boating lifestyle while maintaining Goodhue’s premium, approachable, and family-oriented brand voice.
Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content opportunities to keep channels fresh and engaging.
Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions, campaigns, launches, events, and seasonal initiatives.
Attend boat shows, events, customer experiences, and dealership activities to capture real-time content.
Monitor content performance and provide insights/recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
Work closely with sales, service, and operations teams to identify content opportunities and highlight customer experiences.
Provide guidance and support to out-of-region locations on content strategy, posting cadence, brand standards, and platform best practices to ensure consistency across all Goodhue social channels.
