About The Position

Affordable Home Furnishings is seeking a creative, organized, and outgoing Social Media Manager to enhance its online presence. The company is a regional rent-to-own furniture, appliance, and electronics provider with 35 locations across Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. This role requires a candidate who understands how to create authentic, engaging, and community-focused content, with a strong emphasis on short-form video for platforms like Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. The Social Media Manager will travel to store locations to capture content, feature products and promotions, participate in campaigns, and build the brand's online personality. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating videos, staying current with social trends, and transforming everyday moments into compelling content.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of social media management or content creation experience preferred.
• Experience creating short-form video content.
• Comfortable filming and editing content independently.
• Experience with CapCut, Canva, Meta Business Suite and/or social media scheduling platforms.
• Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Retail sales experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be comfortable traveling regularly between store locations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit short-form video content for Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
• Produce a minimum of 2-3 videos per week.
• Create additional campaign and promotional content as needed.
• Travel between store locations to capture content.
• Film products, employees, customer interactions, sales events, and store promotions.
• Assist with content planning and social media scheduling.
• Monitor trends and adapt them to the brand.
• Work closely with the marketing department on monthly campaigns and promotions.
• Help maintain a consistent and engaging social media presence across all platforms.
