About The Position

MGH, a full-service marketing communications agency, is currently seeking a Social Media Manager with 4-6+ years agency or in-house experience to join our social media marketing team as a remote, hybrid, or in-office employee. Serve as the primary forward-facing social media strategist on client account(s), building relationships with assigned clients and teams Develop social media content strategies, defining strategic elements such as channels, audience, content types, tone of voice, etc. Oversee the development of monthly/quarterly editorial calendars Concept, shoot, and edit social media content, with an emphasis on short-form video content Create/write monthly editorial calendars, including brainstorming, copywriting, and partnering with the creative team for visual development Oversee community management and engagement Frequently analyze performance of content and overall strategy, guiding team to make shifts as needed Manage paid social amplification and boosting strategies to maximize content performance Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Maintain ongoing education around tactics and emerging trends relevant to the marketing industry, as well as client industries Educate internal teams and clients on trends, behaviors, and technologies Explore and apply emerging tools (including AI) to improve social content development and performance

Requirements

  • Strong experience building and executing social strategies, with case studies and examples
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social platforms
  • Experience shooting and editing social-first video content (CapCut, Premiere, native platform tools, etc.)
  • Deep experience in content development and community management
  • Deep understanding of social metrics and KPIs
  • Strong creative thinking and copywriting skills
  • Adaptable, flexible
  • Positive and solutions-oriented attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Restaurant and CPG industry experience and interest is preferred

Responsibilities
