About The Position

The Summit Health Social Media intern supports the marketing and clinical operations team by managing, creating, and scheduling content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook and TikTok — with a goal of increased patient engagement and attracting new patients to the Summit Health practice. Key responsibilities of this intern will include building and maintaining a regular social media schedule across the various social media channels maintained by Summit Health, planning and capturing video content at our medical offices and crafting a series of weekly posts to boost brand awareness and engagement metrics across Summit Health’s social platforms. Ideal candidates are creative, detail-oriented students proficient in social media trends and tools like Canva.

Requirements

Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communication, Advertising or a related field.
Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, proactive, and creative.
Available a minimum of 12-14 hours per week.
One day spent filming/creating video content for Summit Health social media channels via iPhone or other smartphone device.

Nice To Haves

Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud) and scheduling tools (e.g., Meta, Hootsuite) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Developing and posting creative content (videos, graphics, captions) according to a content calendar.
Responding to comments/DMs, and engaging with followers to increase brand presence.
Assisting in brainstorming campaign ideas and analyzing engagement metrics to report on performance.
Staying up-to-date with current industry trends and social media best practices.
Building and maintaining a regular social media schedule across the various social media channels maintained by Summit Health.
Planning and capturing video content at our medical offices.
Crafting a series of weekly posts to boost brand awareness and engagement metrics across Summit Health’s social platforms.
