About The Position

Vilgain is a European nutrition brand focused on real ingredients and high standards, recently launched in the US with Los Angeles as its initial market. We are seeking a Content Creator with expertise in TikTok, a passion for food and fitness, and the ability to transform nutrition stories into engaging content. This is a strategic ownership role, not just a production position. The individual will define the content strategy, build the content engine, manage TikTok and Instagram, and produce content as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable with both strategic planning (quarterly content plans) and hands-on content creation (filming TikToks). The role is TikTok-first, LA-anchored, and involves building the brand's presence from the ground up.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of social media experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience owning channel strategy (not solely content production).
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, including its formats, culture, editing styles, and performance drivers.
  • Hands-on content creation skills: ability to concept, shoot, edit, and publish content independently.
  • Comfortable analyzing paid social performance data and using insights to inform organic strategy.
  • Genuine passion for food, nutrition, fitness, or sports nutrition.
  • Strong ideation skills; ability to proactively bring ideas to the table.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera in various formats (talking-head, voiceover, direct-to-camera).
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as CapCut, Instagram Edits, Canva, Figma, or similar.
  • Strong aesthetic sense for framing, pacing, lighting, and overall creative quality.
  • Organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple workstreams without constant supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience launching social media presence for a CPG, food, or supplement brand.
  • Experience with TikTok Shop or social commerce.
  • Background in creator-led, founder-led, or street-style interview formats.
  • Working knowledge of nutrition, ingredients, or wellness trends.
  • Existing network of creators and community contacts in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

  • Set US social strategy across TikTok and Instagram, including a content calendar and growth plan.
  • Own channel KPIs such as follower growth, content reach, and community engagement.
  • Launch and manage the Vilgain US TikTok account from its inception.
  • Track, report on, and iterate on performance metrics weekly.
  • Concept, shoot, edit, and publish short-form video content optimized for TikTok performance.
  • Generate a continuous stream of platform-native ideas, including hooks, formats, series, and trend-based content.
  • Create various content formats such as talking-head videos, voiceovers, educational explainers, product-focused content, and street-style interviews.
  • Translate product benefits, ingredient education, and nutrition concepts into compelling content.
  • Create static and graphic content, including carousels, story frames, and branded graphics, coordinating with HQ design support.
  • Write engaging hooks, captions, and scripts that are native to each platform.
  • Maintain a consistent visual and editorial tone across all US social channels.
  • Stay updated on trends, editing styles, and storytelling formats while ensuring content aligns with the Vilgain brand.
  • Collaborate with the HQ creative team on assets, brand voice, and campaign needs, briefing and directing their support.
  • Support campaign launches, TikTok shop activations, and ongoing brand storytelling.
  • Work closely with the US Influencer & Community Lead to align creator content with channel strategy.
  • Coordinate with the Marketplaces & E-Commerce Manager on TikTok shop content.
  • Manage daily community interactions, including comments and direct messages, during US business hours and in the brand's voice.
  • Report weekly to the Head of US Market on performance, key learnings, and content pipeline.
