About The Position

Pure is building the future of rare coin and precious metal trading. We believe collectors and investors deserve financial infrastructure that matches the standards of modern markets. That is why we are creating a new kind of order book marketplace that brings transparency, efficiency, and trust to an industry still rooted in legacy systems. Started in 2023, Pure is one of the fastest growing marketplaces for tangible assets. We have processed over $1 billion in transactions and currently handle more than $70 million a month, and we are expanding rapidly. Our mission is to modernize an old industry by combining the reliability of traditional trading systems with the innovation of cutting-edge technology. We are hiring a Social Media & Content Lead to own Pure's organic presence on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit, and Discord, and to tie what we post to people who actually sign up and trade. You will report to the Head of Growth Marketing and work with them every day. You would be the first dedicated social hire. The channels are close to empty and the strategy is yours to build: which platforms get what, which formats we test, which creators we work with, and how we know any of it is working. You can make the content yourself, and you will often want to, but the job is the plan and the results, not the edit.

Requirements

3+ years running social for a brand, with at least one account you took from a small audience to a much larger one. Bring the before and after numbers
You have owned the strategy, beyond the posting itself: platform mix, format bets, a testing cadence, and the calls on what to stop
You read your own dashboard and change course because of it, and you can point to a time you argued against the obvious move and were right
You ship without waiting. You would rather post the test today and learn than polish for a week
You are careful with facts. A wrong number or a sloppy claim bothers you more than a post that flops
You can edit and design well enough to make things yourself when speed matters, and you know when to hand it to a creator instead
Comfortable in a small, in-person team where the playbook does not exist yet and you are the one writing it

Nice To Haves

Comfortable on camera. Our formats can be faceless or fronted, and being able to front some of them is a plus
Fintech, collectibles, marketplace, or luxury resale experience
You collect coins, stack silver, or have ever argued about a grade. We will teach you the hobby if you are curious; we cannot teach you to care about getting it right. Not required but extremely valuable

Responsibilities

Own the channel strategy and content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, Reddit, and Discord
Set the creative direction for how Pure looks and sounds on social, and hold that bar on everything we publish
Run a steady testing program across hooks, formats, and series. Kill what does not work, double down on what does, and show the numbers behind each call
Build the measurement that connects views to signups and first orders, not follower counts. You will have PostHog and a growth lead who lives in it
Produce content directly when it is the fastest path: script, shoot, and edit in CapCut, Premiere, Figma, or whatever you work fastest in
Build and run a bench of coin and precious-metals creators for sponsorships, UGC, and clipping, with FTC disclosure done correctly every time
Show up daily in the coin and stacking communities on Reddit and Discord as a disclosed Pure team member: answer questions, share what we are seeing, never post under a handle that hides who you are
Spot moments early, like a US Mint release or a sellout on the marketplace, and get content out the same day
Work inside our compliance rails. We never give investment advice, never predict prices, and never manufacture urgency. Every fact we post has to be right, because trust is the product
