About The Position

Cofertility is seeking a part-time, freelance Social Media Content Creator to join their Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating short-form videos, spotting trends, and bringing content to life. The creator will be responsible for increasing content output, supporting filming, editing videos, and developing new content formats to educate women and families about Cofertility. The position involves being both behind and in front of the camera, working closely with the CEO and co-founder, and identifying other creators when needed. The goal is to create engaging, scroll-stopping content that drives impact and grows Cofertility's social presence.

Requirements

• Based in Los Angeles and available for periodic in-person content production
• 2+ years creating social content for a brand, agency, or as a creator
• Strong instincts for hooks, storytelling, pacing, and what makes content convert.
• Closely attuned to what matters to women in their 20s and early 30s.
• Comfortable appearing on camera
• Able to execute in a brand’s voice and aesthetic; you translate briefs into content without losing context
• Have a strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and social trends
• Enjoy brainstorming creative concepts and testing new formats
• Have strong editing skills
• Is a self-starter with a test-and-learn mindset and a bias toward action and iteration
• Able to work independently, manage your own deadlines, and communicate proactively when things shift
• Thrive in fast-moving, creative environments
• Curiosity or genuine interest in women's health, reproductive wellness, or topics that matter to women in their 20s and 30s

Responsibilities

• Concept, shoot, and edit 16+ short-form video assets per month for social media (Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube) across multiple brand accounts using primarily iPhone and lightweight setups.
• Produce and edit long-form video content for YouTube
• Create static visual content for Instagram
• Appear on camera or direct Cofertility staff or creators when needed
• Maintain the content calendar and publish on schedule across platforms
• Monitor and engage with comments across our social channels in a timely, on-brand way
• Help identify, vet, and coordinate with external creators when we need additional content voices; this isn't a full influencer management role, but you should be comfortable doing outreach and basic briefing
• Proactively surface trending sounds, formats, and cultural moments relevant to our brand and audience
• Track basic performance data and flag what's resonating
