About The Position

Sally's Apizza, a legendary New Haven-based pizza brand known for its coal-fired tradition and rapid growth, is seeking a Part-Time Social Media Content Creator. This role is ideal for someone passionate about social media, food culture, and creating engaging content that captures attention. The creator will be responsible for telling the Sally's story across various digital platforms and connecting with the brand's communities.

Requirements

  • Proven social media experience (portfolio or active accounts are a plus).
  • Strong visual content skills, including photo and video creation/editing.
  • Familiarity with social media management and scheduling tools.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent writing and proofreading skills.
  • Self-starter capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Passion for food, hospitality, and authentic storytelling.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and common social media platforms.
  • General understanding of Google Analytics, including targeted ads, ROI data, and demographic analysis.
  • Basic understanding of SEO.
  • English language proficiency.
  • A minimum of 1 year of proven success in a digital content creation setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry and viral trends.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be available for work on days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to be on-site at locations for at least 3 days a week, and for all new restaurant openings.
  • Must have an LLC.

  • Basic Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute creative content strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Shoot and edit photos and short-form videos that showcase the Sally's experience.
  • Manage daily social media posting and engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews.
  • Conduct social listening to monitor trends, audience sentiment, and brand conversations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with campaigns, promotions, and brand guidelines.
  • Support paid social media efforts and assist in analyzing performance using tools like Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics.
  • Conduct on-camera interviews.
