Santa Clara University's Department of Education is seeking a Lecturer to help grow and lead its new MA in Social Impact Leadership (SILM) program, launching in Fall 2026. This program builds on an existing concentration and aims to prepare early to mid-career professionals for leadership roles in various social impact organizations. It is a joint venture between the School of Education and Counseling Psychology, the Leavey School of Business, and the Miller Center for Global Impact. The curriculum focuses on leadership formation, business fundamentals, and an entrepreneurial mindset, incorporating engagement with social impact leaders, mentors, and a mentored internship/capstone experience. This fixed-term, one-year position, starting September 1, 2026, involves teaching courses and program administrative work. The Department of Education is grounded in four commitments: cura personalis (care for the whole person), social justice, transformation, and diversity. The ideal candidate will embrace and actively carry out these commitments.
