About The Position

The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Auditing and Taxation. The course load is 4 courses per semester (fall and spring) with multiple preparations. Additional teaching responsibilities may include other accounting courses based on departmental needs. The ability and willingness to teach multiple course preparations across the accounting curriculum is highly desirable. The candidate will also be expected to participate in service activities such as departmental and college-wide meetings, departmental and business school recruiting events, and student club advising.

Requirements

  • A terminal degree in Accounting or at least a master’s degree in Accounting & Taxation from an accredited institution is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability and willingness to teach multiple course preparations across accounting curriculum.
  • Prior teaching experience at university level.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent.

Responsibilities
