About The Position

The Accounting & Law Division periodically seeks qualified applicants to serve as Adjunct Faculty to teach accounting courses in our undergraduate and graduate programs. As such, we accept applications on a rolling basis and review them when an opening becomes available. The Accounting & Law Division is a team of innovative, collegial, and affable colleagues who are profoundly dedicated to their craft as educators, scholars, and practitioners. Our faculty include award-winning teachers, thought leaders and community leaders. They have educated and advised a wide variety of learners, from students to budding entrepreneurs to management and executives at fortune 500 companies. Their research has been published in top-tier journals and have contributed knowledge to their discipline, to practice and to pedagogy. Babson College teaches courses in many different formats, including traditional semester schedules, intensive classroom experiences, evening classes, weekend classes, and on-line instruction.

Requirements

Relevant graduate degree (e.g., MBA, MSA, DBA, PhD) from an accredited university and preferably one or more professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA).
Previous college or university teaching experience and/or practical accounting experience relevant to the course(s) being taught.

Responsibilities

Teach accounting courses in our undergraduate and graduate programs.
Take advantage of teaching development through our Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning (CELT) and coaching from colleagues.
Assume additional responsibilities as required.
