About The Position
The Dance Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach the undergraduate course DNCE BC2562 Movement Analysis during the Fall 2026 semester (9/8/26-12/31/26). The instructor will be responsible for instruction, providing grades, being available to students through office hours, collaborating with faculty, and responding to students and staff via email.
Requirements
- MFA or PhD in Dance or appropriate related field from an Accredited College or University, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in instructing in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Instruction of assigned classes.
- Provide interim and final grades for enrolled students.
- Be available to students through office hours (face to face or virtual).
- Collaborating with faculty as necessary.
- Be responsive to students and Chair/staff via email.
