About The Position
The Modern Languages Department at Bentley University is accepting applications for a part-time Adjunct Lecturer, Spanish for the Fall 2026 semester. Applicants must be available to teach between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Courses are scheduled Monday-Wednesday and Tuesday-Friday.
Requirements
- MA required.
- Native or near-native competency in Spanish is required.
- Have at least two years of teaching experience.
- Have experience using and developing a range of learning materials.
Nice To Haves
- PhD preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach Spanish Basic and Intermediate courses
- Create an effective classroom environment that fosters student’s curiosities and abilities to practice their language skills.
- Deliver course content that meets learning outcomes and encourage student’s active participation in the classroom and beyond.
- Promote the study of languages, including the Language, Culture and Business major.
- Collaborate in the development and continued assessment of learning outcomes for use in program reviews and curriculum revision.
- Hold office hours.
