About The Position

As the Social Impact Activation Lead, Sr. Associate You will collaborate with team members and cross enterprise business contacts to drive results that increasingly align business strategy and social impact; launch new, different, and more holistic approaches to engaging our associates and investing in our communities; leverage Capital One’s volunteer time and talent in increasingly strategic ways; and customize data, analytics, research, and inclusive design to inform more targeted and actionable consulting to our business partners. In this role you will be responsible for: Conducting comprehensive benchmarking of social impact and volunteerism programs against peer organizations to identify innovative engagement models and best practices. Serving as a strategic consultant to business partners, utilizing data-driven insights and human-centered design to maximize the impact of volunteer time and talent. Designing and implementing a "test, learn, and scale" framework to drive the strategic evolution of social impact initiatives, ensuring continuous optimization based on associate feedback and community needs. Ensuring operational governance for any new volunteerism programs to ensure enterprise-wide consistency, scalability, and adherence to CRA compliance and business impact goals. Defining key performance indicators and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into volunteer participation, resource allocation, and overall corporate social impact. Developing actionable and strategic project plans around stakeholder insights that will define the priorities for our team and rally our stakeholders to the vision

Requirements

  • Exhibit influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
  • Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership style
  • Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 3 years of experience in process management or project management, or a combination

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience managing, coordinating, or executing community volunteer programs or employee engagement initiatives
  • 4+ years of experience in project management
  • 2+ years of experience with community event management, nonprofit, or political experience
  • 1+ years of experience planning, scheduling, or tracking metrics for corporate or non-profit volunteer events
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a focus on clarity, persuasion, and data-driven storytelling
  • 1+ years of experience leveraging emerging AI technology such as Gemini or Claude
