About The Position

The Social Commerce Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and brand performance across social commerce and digital marketplace platforms, with a strong dual focus on TikTok Shop and iHerb for Galderma’s Consumer Business Unit. This role serves as the commercial owner and strategic lead for TikTok Shop and iHerb, as well as select additional marketplace and Quick Commerce channels. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and an external operating partner that supports execution, the Manager owns platform strategy, performance management, and P&L accountability to ensure scalable and profitable growth. This role will report into the Director of National Sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in eCommerce, social commerce, or digital marketplaces
  • Hands-on experience working with TikTok Shop and strong familiarity with marketplace operations
  • Direct experience managing or partnering with iHerb strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of social commerce, marketplace dynamics, and performance marketing
  • Demonstrated experience managing platform or customer-level P&L
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Primary owner for overall commercial strategy and performance for TikTok Shop, including assortment, pricing, promotions, inventory availability, and shop health
  • Serve as the primary internal owner for TikTok Shop - aligning brand, marketing, digital, and operational stakeholders around clear objectives and KPIs
  • Collaborate closely with an external operating partner to support day-to-day TikTok Shop execution while retaining ownership of results
  • Stay current on TikTok Shop capabilities, trends, and best practices to inform ongoing strategy
  • Serve as commercial owner for iHerb, leading strategy, performance management, assortment planning, promotions, and growth initiatives
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with iHerb to drive GMV, conversion, visibility, and long-term brand equity
  • Lead commercial strategy for additional Quick Commerce and marketplace platforms such as Instacart or similar partners
  • Ensure consistent brand presentation, compliant content, and strong customer experience across all managed marketplaces
  • Own platform-level P&L for TikTok Shop, iHerb, and assigned marketplaces, including revenue forecasting, promotional investment, fees, deductions, and margin performance
  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain teams to forecast demand and support inventory and production planning across marketplace channels
  • Assess ROI across promotions, affiliate programs, trade levers, and media investments to optimize growth and profitability
  • Define affiliate and creator commerce strategy for TikTok Shop, aligned with brand priorities, positioning, seasonality, and key activation moments
  • Support creator activation and performance optimization in collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and agencies
  • Ensure all TikTok Shop and marketplace content is compliant and aligned with core marketing claims, brand positioning, and seasonal strategies
  • Lead strategy for TikTok Shop campaigns including product launches, promotions, flash sales, and live shopping events
  • Partner with Brand, Marketing, and Media teams to guide development of content strategies across TikTok Shop and iHerb, including paid amplification opportunities
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics including GMV, traffic, conversion rate, AOV, affiliate contribution, and promotional lift across TikTok Shop and iHerb
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations to improve content, merchandising, pricing, and promotions
  • Act as a key connector across Sales, Brand, Marketing, Media, Digital, Finance, Supply Chain, and external partners
  • Assist with other eCommerce and Media team projects, task forces, or 360 initiatives as needed, particularly during peak activation periods
