SoC Power Spec Engineer

Apple•Austin, TX

About The Position

As part of Apple’s Silicon Engineering group, the SoC Power Spec Engineer models power dissipation across IPs, applications, and SOC/system levels for Apple products, including AI/ML workloads. The role supports optimization of leading-edge chips for power efficiency and collaborates with architecture, SOC design, system design, software, technology, validation, and product engineering teams. It also partners with lab and silicon characterization and validation teams to correlate power models with silicon data. The position involves developing insights into silicon optimization and contributing to mobile SoC design and model-to-silicon correlation efforts. Responsibilities include modeling power at the SOC level and for customer use cases, defining SOC-level power targets and power delivery with partner teams, and correlating models to silicon measurements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
