About The Position

Join the Low Power group at Silicon Technologies to develop and improve low-power flow algorithms, including the use of AI and machine learning, for mobile system-on-chips. The role involves developing automated tools and capabilities for the Silicon Engineering Power team to support the creation of highly power-efficient chips. You will contribute to the architecture, implementation, and validation of advanced low-power design and verification workflows, and help shape low-power strategies for emerging technologies. Work includes developing flows and tools for power analysis, optimization, and verification integrated into stages such as RTL development and verification, synthesis, and place-and-route (P&R). You will use AI tools to develop new solutions and improve existing ones, and collaborate with design teams to answer questions, resolve issues, and support adoption of the methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Solid understanding of VLSI designs and SoC design processes.
  • Enthusiasm for scripting and applying low-power expertise to develop software solutions.
  • Enthusiasm for applying AI/ML to low-power methodologies and flows.
  • Experience in flow development and algorithm design using Python, Perl, or Tcl.
  • Proficiency in contemporary software testing and development methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with low-power principles and low-power design techniques.
