About The Position
Innova Solutions is hiring a Snowflake / Streamlit Platform Engineer for a contract-to-hire position in Wilmington, Delaware, with a stated duration of 12+ months. The role focuses on hands-on software development and data engineering, including data migration and work with Snowflake, Python, Terraform, and AWS data lake services. The position is open only to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis; 1099 and Corp-to-Corp arrangements are not considered.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development and data engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on Python, shell scripting, and UNIX skills.
- Demonstrated Big Data and hands-on data migration expertise as a software engineer.
- Experience with Snowflake Cortex and Streamlit.
- Experience with one or more AWS data lake technologies, including AWS Lake Formation, Glue, Step Functions, and Lambda.
- Experience with data movement tools or technologies such as AWS CLI, Python API, Spark, or Python Boto3.
- Experience with data analytics technologies such as AWS Athena, S3 Select, EMR, or Redshift.
- Knowledge of AWS S3 and EC2 for compute and storage.
- Knowledge of at least one scheduling tool, such as Control-M.
- Ability to be engaged on a W-2 basis; 1099 and Corp-to-Corp arrangements are not accepted.
Nice To Haves
- Working experience in one or more of the listed programming languages; the posting does not specify which languages.
- Knowledge and experience with testing, releases, and CI/CD pipeline deployments into AWS using Bitbucket/Git, Jenkins, or Service Now.
- Experience with logging and tracing tools such as AWS CloudWatch or Splunk.
- Knowledge of AI agentic workflows, MCP servers, or AI/ML platforms.
- Databricks experience.
