About The Position

Pyramid Consulting is hiring a Snowflake Solutions Architect for a 06+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential. The position is remote in the US and involves working directly with customers, either individually or as part of a technical delivery team, to advise on and oversee platform implementation. The architect provides technical leadership through code, solution architectures, implementation recommendations, and guidance to customer executive leadership. They translate business requirements into well-architected recommendations, develop future-state roadmaps, reduce implementation risk using established best practices, and turn future-state goals into actionable execution plans. The role also collaborates with go-to-market and product teams to align customer solutions with their goals.

Requirements

• 8–11 years of experience as a Solutions Consultant, data architect, database administrator, or data engineer.
• 8 years of technical consulting experience.
• Experience leading analytics projects for large enterprises.
• Experience implementing and operating client-centric solutions.
• Understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL and data platform design to BI and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with common industry BI and ETL solutions.
• Hands-on technical experience using SQL, Python, Java, and/or Spark to build, operate, and maintain data analytics solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technologies such as Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, or Greenplum.
• Proficiency in implementing data security measures and access controls, and in platform-specific design.
• Experience in the services organization of a product company.
• Experience in a leadership position executing technical projects.

Nice To Haves

• Industry vertical expertise, such as Media, Financial Services, or Healthcare.
• Application development experience.
• AWS or Microsoft Cloud certification(s).
• Advanced certification(s).

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers individually or as part of a technical delivery team.
• Oversee and advise on implementation of customers' platforms.
• Provide technical leadership through personally developed code, solution architectures, and implementation recommendations.
• Advise customer executive leadership on thought leadership and solution approaches.
• Extract customer business requirements and translate them into well-architected recommendations.
• Develop and provide forward-looking guidance and future-state roadmaps.
• Leverage established best practices and solutions to reduce risk to customer implementations.
• Decompose future-state goals into actionable execution plans.
• Collaborate with go-to-market and product teams to align solutions with customer goals.
